The Bar N Ranch is located roughly six miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Our West Yellowstone guest ranch is an elegant extension of the natural wonders and scenic byways of southwest Montana. Resident wildlife and breathtaking views surround us, while the South Fork of the Madison River meanders through our 200 acre ranch – swimming, kayaking and fishing are accessible right from the ranch!

Arrive at the Bar N Ranch in West Yellowstone, MT. and check into your cabin before enjoying a swim at the pool or play in the river. Indulge with a dinner at the Bar N Ranch located just a short walk from your cabin.
Wake up early to have breakfast at the ranch before spending your first day on a private Yellowstone tour. Customized to your preferences, see the park at your own speed including sights like Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and incredible geysers and paint pots. Return to ranch at the end of a busy day and enjoy a leisurely western dinner at the ranch.
Wake up and head to the ranch for breakfast before heading out for another adventure. Today you are rafting the Gallatin River! After rafting – you will have time to change, check out the cool slideshow of your trip and enjoy lunch at our facilities. Next you will drive (or walk!) the 1/4 of a mile to the stables for a 2 hour horseback ride. This horseback ride will take us through the meadows of the Porcupine Game Range in Big Sky, Montana. The ride features panoramic vistas of surrounding mountains and great views of the Gallatin River. Bring your camera! Head back to the ranch to enjoy a nice dinner and beautiful sunset.
Enjoy a nice breakfast before heading back into the park. By now, you know you can’t see Yellowstone in one day! Grab your picnic lunch before heading out for the day. Drive into town to pick up your GPS (self-guided audio tour of Yellowstone National Park). Learn about the history and science of the parks, get all the interesting facts, and check out the animal habitats. This GPS will also show you the great views, picnic areas, bathrooms and so much more that you might miss. If you are ready to head back – go into town to explore what West Yellowstone has to offer. Come back to the ranch for a nice relaxing dinner and enjoy the beautiful sunset one last time.
